When we were children you walked before us,

to set an example.

When we were teenagers you walked behind us,

to be there should we need you.

Now that we are grown you walk beside us,

and as friends we can enjoy life together!

Ethan turns Two!

This guy is just another one of my own.
Some of my Ethan favorites.... He gets excited to see me, will carry on a lengthy phone converstion about who knows what (probably how he needs a break from Mom and Dad, hee hee)

and although he managed to say each one of my boy's name quite some time ago he will now say "aunt nellie"(I have been working with him on that one).

Today is Hallie J's 4th Birthday.
I love this little woman! She has such a spunky personality. It is so entertaining to hear all the funny things that spill out of her mouth ( I think I would give her dad some credit for her creative thinking).

Fall... My all-time favorite season.
The earth starts to sprout some of my most
favorite colors,

(the view outside our back window, love it this time of year)
school is now in full swing, days are getting crisp and cool, football,
decorating with pumpkins and corn stalks,
first date with my hubby

and of course sharing my birthday month with a lot of awesome people,

Mom, Hallie, Ethan, Shannon, Erin and now
Baby Boy Jefferies or Little dude as his sisters like to call him.
